Freedom Ain’t Free
This is a song I just wrote today. I’m in the middle of moving to New Delhi and taking my upright bass with me. Arranging everything with all the necessary bureaucracies and corporations has been a bit of a nightmare. This is one more instance that has reminded me that it’s easy to feel free when you live happily inside the walls of your bubble but when your life choices don’t coincide with the officially sanctioned paths you, really notice that freedom isn’t free, it costs you your freedom...
So I woke up with the beginning of this new song in my head and coaxed it out into the real world. Now I’ll share it with all of you folks here in the digital world. It’s still pretty raw but here goes.

Thank you for that my friend, I have to post to dtube with a different computer than I do the rest of my work on so theres a bit of back and forth editing involved to put my gifs and whatnot up.

Thats exactly right brotha, I think it was under 100 bucks for 2 condensers. Doesnt sound half bad although the connection went on one of them.
Yeah, they’re really not made very well (I have the same condensers), although you can mod them and make them awesome with parts from microphoneparts.com :D
Now thats a cool tip, any instructions you can link me to? Im not quite that tech savy...

Reminds me of one I had and used to traverse the USA from coast to coast on several occasions throughout the early 2000's...
Many of which were en route to seeing my then fiance - who coincidentally, is from India of all places...
Though we have since married and parted ways, we remain good friends - and this song of yours just hit home with me on so many levels...

That is some funny stuff man, I’m living in this thing with my girlfriend who is from Portugal but of Indian descent, who I met in india. Not doing much traveling though, just trying to set ourselves up for the future with some web based income of various kinds. 🤞
