RE: The War on Drugs is immoral

in #opiumcrisis7 years ago

There are only two ways to handle the drug problems. First, legalize it, and let those prone to addiction slowly murder themselves, or second, as a policy, kill anyone you find with any drugs of any kind. Nothing less will work. Both destroy the profit from drugs, which in turn destroys the traffic in drugs. The second method, while cold blooded, worked for China when they faced a much worse opium problem, provided by the British ( which is probably where the CIA learned it from).

I believe that we should all be free to put whatever we want into our own bodies. Even if it’s bad for us. If you’re not free to make a bad decision, are you even free? The war on drugs does nothing good unless you’re the state trying to expand your power and influence and other crimes. It does, however, incarcerate non violent offenders which in turn takes up space for violent offenders AND uses tax payer money (which btw taxation is theft!).

It also allows the hardened felons ample time and access, to train these people to be more dangerous.
