Introduction

The decentralized systems currently have changed the way to resolve conflicts, due to the protagonism that each member has within the environment. This in one way or another has negatively brought decisions that affect some of the parties and in turn the system where they are involved. Due to this, systems have emerged that help to resolve conflicts within decentralized systems so that the parties involved can handle themselves in the best way and abide by just decisions that benefit the environment.

What is Kleros?

Kleros is a decentralized judicial system that helps in the arbitration of decisions through intelligent contracts through an intercessory jury, which are benefited by incentives through their own Pinakation tokens (PNK) when issuing just sentences.

One of the challenges of the digital global economy is the solution of conflicts where state courts can not issue sentences, for which there must be special protocols for such a solution, that is why Kleros makes a connection between users who need to resolve complex disputes through qualified juries which issue fair sentences using Blockchain technology with shared resources to effectively and efficiently resolve such disputes.

Functionality of Kleros

Based on smart contracts Kleros establishes guidelines to follow for both parties that choose this system as a means of adjudication.

This information is sent to the jury where it will be analyzed exhaustively for subsequent sentencing. It may be required that both parties to the contract disclose important information to the jury.

The selection of the juries that processed the dispute is done at random. The number of times the user issues a dispute, this will determine the number of votes you will receive in it and the number of tokens you will win at the time of redistribution of earnings.

An intelligent contract is issued where the sentence is recorded. If either party is not satisfied with the decision, it can issue a new dispute.

Conclusion

Our era is advancing and the use of the blockchain is increasingly encouraged, bringing with it new challenges for which earthly laws do not have definitive access. Kleros is at the forefront as a platform unique in its category and above all based on the blockchain which further expands its chances of continuing to grow in this vast community.
