This Tuesday, in Durango, Colorado, a bear unknowingly became a prisoner when it entered the territory of the local prison, reports the Kob 4 chain. "It was a really big bear," commented the Sergeant Dan Bender of the Sheriff's Office. The plantigrado climbed the wall that delimits the installation and crossed the barbed wire, whose main function is probably to prevent the prisoners from crossing it in the opposite direction.

Noticing the presence of the new 'internal' nine guards unlocked the doors for the animal to leave, but the bear did not understand its logic, explained Bender. After the fiasco of its first attempt the watchmen tried to frighten the animal, that later it was climbed to a tree to hide itself. In the end, the bear left the territory and ran towards the nearby hills.
