Men's Mental Health Channel - pending, but check out Oumuamua!

Well, work has been slow on setting up my planned men's mental health channel, I am fortunate enough to be extremely busy. In the meantime, I am going to make this into a bit of an Oumuamua hub. This fascinating interstellar object - possibly 'just' an asteroid - has been spoken of in quite different terms compared to other intruders into the solar system such as asteroids or comets.

There are a lot of news items about this being a different type of object entirely. I'd like to understand why this is the case.

At the very least, the arrival of this object, and stories about it being an alien artefact, show that the common belief that humanity will lose its mind in the face of even the possibility of contact with an alien race has been shown to be false. In fact, it has attracted little interest amongst the bulk of the population. I remain fascinated, however.
