Syrian youths in Turkey choose art to express their rejection of the Trump decision on occupied Jerusalem

"A group of young Syrians in southern Turkey expressed their love for the occupied city of Jerusalem and rejected the decision of US President Donald Trump to consider the city as the capital of Israel and the transfer of its embassy to it.

The youth group drew "Islamic Jerusalem" on the walls of a youth center where they work voluntarily with young Turks in an Ottoman state south of the country.

A member of the group, Osama, said he had come to Turkey from Hama province in central Syria and was participating in youth centers in an Ottoman state to adapt to social life in Turkey. He added that they find an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings through drawing in a drawing club in youth centers.

For his part, Sarraq Ahmad said that the drawing of "Islamic Jerusalem" was a joint decision for them, pointing out that the Trump decision on Jerusalem angered them all because Jerusalem is of great importance to them.

On December 6, President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem (both east and west) as the capital of Israel and ordered the transfer of his country's embassy from Tel Aviv amid international concern and warnings and an Arab and Islamic wave of anger.
