Red and green is one of my top favourite colours combination :D.
I don't know what you mean by wet brushes, so probably no. I made this digital in Photoshop as usual.
Thank you Sander :).
Is this in modern Photoshop setting? I'm still using CS5 which is ancient and I don't know if there's any mixer here. It actually saddens me that it doesn't even have a permanent colour panel, which I know is present in the recent version.
Same, I used to modify the brushes but my friend had all of the Kyle T Webster brushes that she let me download. I pretty much use those exclusively. He has a ton that mimic different tips of inking tools, pencils, art markers, etc.
Custom brushes are awesome, though the problem with them is that I have to relearn each brush all over again and memorise them, or they just clutter up the space and eat memory. Hehe, first world problem? XD
I love this one, @scrawly ! The colours are so rich and so delicious, like I could almost taste them with my eyes * ___ * It looks like a strange and foreboding afternoon, a scene from a movie or a dream, with surrealistically beautiful world... <3
That water surface, caught and reflecting the dying light of the day carries great ambient, as if it presents a narrative even at the absence of a human character in the canvas. The scene itself has become an emotional presence * ____ *
I love the tall grass at the foreground. I can hear the swish-swish sound of people's legs trying to walk through them and how they must scratch against the skin so~
Reading at your comment, I feel that the picture I made is not as good as the description you wrote spider :).
But thank you, I appreciate your support a lot <3.
This is a really splendid painting and I get a very nice sweet feeling by looking at this painting. Love the warm colors and the reflections in the water. Great job!
I feel emotional looking at this artwork @scrawly , i dunno but it's something about reminiscing a past experience or... I can't explain it in words! You convey the emotion really well , Good job!
Beautiful work again @scrawly! Like the colors, red and green work well together as complementary colors :)
Do you use wet brushes?

Well in Photoshop you can set the brush tool to mixer brush tool which is like the paint is still wet and you can mix while painting. :)

Indeed, the mood and the vibe speaks for itself. Love the piece!
Thank you Edgar :D.
I love the colors and the lighting. Excellent job! Do you use any fancy brushes or just the defaults Photoshop comes with?
I don't really use default Photoshop brushes because they don't behave like how I expect them to, so I have to fine tune them to my preference.
Thanks Theresa.

Hmm yes, I can see why you think about the past when you look into this picture. I'm glad you told me :).
