was born on April 1938 in Ang district of Gujarat, he was commissioned in 1963 as a Commissioned Officer Charge in the Frontier Force Regiment. When the war of 1965 started, Major Akram was in charge of the security of the city of Lahore as a captain. He achieved success against the Indian Army with a small number of soldiers and stopped the enemy from advancing, he was promoted from Captain to Major in 1969.
The courage and bravery of Major Akram on Hilli's front gave such a color that even the enemy could not do without applause. You martyred yourself on December 5, 1971 fighting bravely against the enemy. He was awarded the Hyder, the highest military honor, in recognition of his bravery against the enemy.
