The tallest cricketer in the world, Mohammad Irfan was offered by the United States (US) national side to play basketball, but keeping Pakistan ahead he has refused the offer without any hesitation.

Mohammad Irfan has not played for Pakistan since after the scandal of spot-fixing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He served a period of six months ban and cooperated with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in identifying the culprits.

The 35-year-old has admitted that he enjoys playing basketball and used to play this game as a professional for the Pakistan Army. His height of 7’1 makes him the attraction for the US basketball team.

Mohammad Irfan said, “Pakistan is my first priority and I will keep on playing for my country, they told me that they want a tall player so that is why they had contacted me.”
