I have partially read the whitepaper and will continue to do so, the project has a solid goal. The other reasons that convinced me is that Snax has an active Steem and Discord account and the some of the Snax Block producers are also dedicated witnesses here in Steem :)
I can't speak for Snax and we have no influence over that blockchain but we (photocircle) can do our part to help distribute tokens that could benefit awesome steemians like you.

By the time you get your snax account & wallet, the Snax tokens will be accounted immediately right after you bind your steem account to snax.

Ok, have successfully created Snax account using @steemit account, am assuming since @photocircle recommended this platform all is in order with them
