i have always been very fascinated by these little, clearly intelligent things. and i have had this question for a while, i hope you can help me to finally understand.

i live in a country that seems to be infested with ants, leave ur chicken bone for a minute and it will be filled with ants in the next, an usually the ants just seem to appear from nowhere because i am sure i maintain a clean living space. This seems to be a general problem in this country as it happens in almost every House hold. My questions are.

1. where do they come?
2. How do they quickly perceive the smell
   3)How are they able to appear"Out of nowhere so fast?

hehee those have been my mind boggling questions.
i know i could just ASK google these things, but i find it best to get answers from knowledgeable people i come across with.
