Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Maybe some people judge the science is very complicated so it is not surprising that science is considered boring.
But in fact, many interesting things can be found if every individual knows what areas they like best in science. Including the group of enthusiasts of things 'creepy'.
A number of recent studies from the world of science, revealing spooky discoveries from various fields, ranging from outer space to things close to us.
Quoted from Listverse, the following 5 latest creepy inventions coming from the world of science.
- Cosmic Radiation
Planet Mars (NASA).
A new study shows that a 225 million kilometer journey to Mars does not only cause chronic jet lag, but there are a number of major dangers lurking beneath it.
A study published in Scientific Reports found that levels of cosmic radiation exposed to tourists can cause brain damage, anxiety, and chronic dementia.
- Killer Robot

Although there are a number of advantages to using artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (AI) in the future, a team of researchers at Carnegie Mellon University revealed that the machine can kill indiscriminately.
AI 'rewarded' for causing damage and killing. The destructive and killing capability was built because the robot from the beginning has been programmed with the optimal strategy to shoot continuously and ruin anything seen by it.
- Worm in the Mouth
The parasite found in the mouth of Jonathan Allen (Wired)
Professor Jonathan Allen had difficulty diagnosing roughly circular sections contained in the inner skin of his mouth. The clumps regularly move to different places.
It turns out the lump contains a small worm parasite that only infects as many as 13 people in the United States, including Allen himself. He finally published an article about the worm that he named "Buddy".
- Ancient Crocodile

Paleontologists at North Carolina State University have recently discovered an older species of dinosaurs and are close relatives of ancient crocodiles. Despite being extinct 230 million years ago, Carnufex carolinensis (Carolina butcher) is a 3-meter-long crocodile-like species and runs on two legs like a human.
With knife-like teeth and agile movements, Carnuflex is probably one of the top predators before the dinosaur's rise.
