Would you take parental guidance from someone who gave their only child up to be tortured and then murdered?
Would you trust someone who said paedophilia was ok? Yet, strangely, homosexuality was to be forcefully discouraged, even among consenting adults?
Now, I’m a Caucasian fella. But I’m not at all ok with slavery.
(did you know that historically there have been, and still are, more ‘white’ slaves than ‘black’ slaves? Just a side note)
I have absolutely ZERO time for anyone who is not only in favour of slavery but even goes so far as to tell you WHO you should enslave.
Yet I am told by others that I should give my unquestioning love and devotion to a being who does EXACTLY that. And what’s even scarier is the number of people who are descended from slaves who do give their unquestioning Love and devotion.
Could you love someone who sends people to rape your wife and daughters for something YOU did to offend them?
If I were to walk down the street telling everyone I loved such a person I would be called ‘disturbed’ ‘troubled’ ‘insane’.
Yet there are millions of people around the world who gather every Sunday with their friends to profess their unquestioning Love for a deity (fictional being) guilty of all of these things and worse.
And people wonder why the world is in such a bad state?
Scary that people can be so cruel while other can be so caring. In my opinion only caring people will ask these questions. Thank you for being real.
The trouble is a vast amount of humanity worship just such a parent.
However if you were married to such a person you would very likely lose contact with your friends and family.
You would be advised to end the marriage by concerned family and friends. They would fear for your life.
Yet every Sunday those same people would gather with others an worship an imaginary deity which has, according to the stories they tell each other, done all of the things mentioned and worse.
And they will tell you that it is a good thing they do. smh.
