It depends on how much USDT they created relative to how much USD they were pay, and I assume that they maximized their USDT creation, which means that prices still have a way to go down.
I also wish for prices to plunge, due to so many people mining currencies at the right time and not selling when they could profit well, due to overgreed.
I feel no mercy for the people whom mined BTC when it was dirt cheap, see the personal story that I had in my relevant thread about it in the past.

If you are so interested at Steem, look for downside breakouts from a falling channel which slope is Steem's annual inflation rate (which is changing).
This is roughly how to know if Steem is oversold compared to Bitcoin.
However, due to what I previously wrote, I believe that Bitcoin is still overbought and so is Steem.
IDNK how much they should cost, and IDNK how much USDT was created relative to USD received for it by BitFinEx.
Both BTC and Steem are very flawed.
I wish that Steem had a viable alternative, because its alternatives as a social network seem even less attractive to me.
