My first shot at tic tock and an honest review.
this was prompted by Quochuy's article about tic tock which you can read here:

So after various hours of sifting through TikTok videos which are mostly comprised of teens and 20 somethings desperately trying to look pretty or be funny.
Because I understand what a crazy step it is to go from a mostly point of sale ds-
I made this... a 30 second video of my cat and with 0 followers got over 100 views in just a few hours...
And I had no idea what the hell I was doing with the SEO, so I just made a quick description with the word cat and tagged it for animal, cats, etc.
The beauty of this app is that you can use A LOT of copyrighted content Automatically embedded into your video editor (and seek validation whilst Riding the coattails of your number one favorite band🙀)
...It’s pretty sick and I have a lot of plans for it.
Obviously the creator still owns the Copyrighted content but no sweat, the fact is there’s huge numbers to be had and a VERY low barrier to entry Compared to YouTubewith TikTok! realize that there is a method to the popular users uploading and many of the popular videos have running themes or feature music.
... but Do you want to know what the most popular theme of all is?
Consistently putting out content.
Some of the users that have passed 1 million followers are putting out basically dog food but I’m still reviewing on to find the gyms. But yes there is no big secret, it’s just persistence .Since today’s my first day, I am obviously only a few hours in but I realized the animal theme might work and it’s got some traction on this video. It’s just goes to show that with proper tagging and through repetition, this platform is anybody’s game.
I would have killed for 150 views in one week let alone one day on any of my YouTube channels. (Which, eventually hit a million views only to be deleted for copyright infringement)
So I am somewhat of an Internet veteran but I am also very skeptical. So far so good no complaints about the platform.🤞

I got 300 views in the last 14 hours. with 3 followers. that's not even on this video the amount of turnover is so crazy active because the algorithm doesn't have to factor in people clicking off as much because everything is UNDER A MINUTE. It's a lot better than most social media apps that monetize your data (such as facebook) but also very easy to get exposure. I'm thinking due to the short nature of the videos, but whatever the case, people are gaining 100k followers in very low periods of time. That's all a know and all I have done it's only been day 1 and 2 but I will keep you posted along every step of the journey!
(especially if I actuallhy choose a specific niche.
