Tolerate frustration?

in #partiko6 years ago

When we are looking for a solution to frustration, the word tolerance will always appear. "You have to learn to tolerate frustration", they tell us. the word "tolerate" from the Latin tolerare, which means to endure and endure.

Enduring frustration is not the same as managing frustration. When we support something we exercise a passive role, we resign ourselves ... But when we manage something we exercise an active role, and that is when we take the reins and we can decide which is the best way.

One of the key steps to managing frustration is appreciation. Appreciation is a highly effective antidote to frustration.

Do not let frustration blind you, then
Frustrating is like wearing blinders, narrowing the field of vision considerably, because we only contemplate that obstacle. It is a tunnel vision that makes everything around us, that all good things disappear, so that we only see the bad.

Tolerating frustration means getting used to that tunnel vision, until we become bitter and pessimistic people.

With appreciation we open that vision of all the positive things in our lives and automatically expand our field of vision.

That does not mean that the problem will disappear. But they are likely to become just a small spot on the horizon. So we can see it in its proper measure, and it will be easier for us to surpass it .
