Heute Nacht haben sich EU-Kommissionspräsident Jean Claude Junker🇪🇺🇱🇺 (rechts) und die britische Premierministerin May (links) auf einen Kompromiss in der Nordirlandfrage geeinigt.
Worum ging es dabei?
Es ging vor allem um den sogenannten Backstop, eine Rückversicherung für die EU zur Klärung der Nordirlandfrage. Er wurde bis 2020 verlängert. Die EU und May hoffen, dass es reicht, damit heute Abend im britischen Parlament eine Mehrheit für den Brexit-Deal zustande kommt.

This night the president of the European Commission, Jean Claude Junker, and British PM Theresa May agreed on a compromise on the backstop.
What is it about?
The backstop, which is an insurance for the EU for the clarification of the Northern Ireland problem, was extended until 2020. The EU hopes that May will win the vote in the parliament this evening.
