My golden button flower / Mi flor botón de oro
This week, I was fixing my garden and I wanted to share this golden button with you. That's what my flower is called. Every day, it gives me its beauty that inspires energy and joy.
This flower (Cosmos sulphureus) usually grows in hot climates, and in addition to decorating the environment, it also has medicinal properties. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is also used to lower cholesterol. Its flavor is strong and aromatic. Some people eat their leaves raw or in stews.
Honeybees 🐝 usually collect nectar, pollen, or both from this plant. For this reason, it’s also called a honey plant (for making honey).
It's possible to get this plant yellow, orange or red. Recently, I planted some seeds to have orange flowers, I hope they can grow healthy and strong. Germination can take between 7 and 21 days. If I succeed, I will soon be showing my new orange flowers. They love the sun ☀ but can tolerate being in the shade.
After the flower withers, the seeds emerge... And so the magic of nature continues to give life.
I love nature! 💖🌿🌼🌻🏵🌹💖

Excellent decision because it's very easy to grow this flower 💮 and is very resistant. It rarely gets to suffer from pests, so it's also a very healthy plant. On the other hand, I congratulate you for that work, working with honey bees should be fascinating 🐝😊

What a lovely flower .... yellow flowers are happy flowers. I wonder if they are medicinal? You said some people eat the roots? Interesting.

Cosmos flowers are so pretty! I look forward to when your orange ones grow.
Me too... I kept the seeds for a long time (at least a year) and I don't know if that has affected them ... I hope everything goes well
