Thoughts of the past and present

The relationship between the present and past is a matter of who is experiencing them and what the person wants to do with them
you might wonder why i say this.
It is simply because, we have the upper hand, we decide what we will do and what we won't do
our life is ours so why should we live in so much discomfort
Now why should we allow our past control our future or even our present situation
now if we notice having a good or bad past doesn't make the present good or bad
It just makes our lives have a story
looking unto the events of the past is only to say ""Ahhhh i have lived"" not to say "oh my situation in the past was like this so my present should also follow that pattern". No the past is only for lessons.
But we also have to let go of the past and allow our present to be full of joy.
Like people will always say " live your life like there's no tomorrow" and" live your life in the present " aand also "live the moment"
