Hi everyone, Fred here! For my first blogging I decided to do not think much and just start writing. I could tell a lot about my current trip and what I went through in the past two months, but this is a story for another blog. Long story short, I am currently in El Bolsón, a small town in the Argentinean Patagônia. This is an energetic city despite its size, people from all over the globe leaves their marks and writes a line in their history passing here. It is amazing when you think about all these travelers passing here, to discover, to break the normal, to feel alive again or just to have a good time. Everyone of us have a story and the fact that we are all connected by this city now, is extraordinary.

Yesterday we went on a hike to Cajón del Azul, which is just one of the sights of Circuito Troncal. Our day started very early at 7am - not that early I know but considering the day light only shows up at nine - packed our things, and went straight to the bus station. Almost lost it as we arrived right on time and the bus was leaving already. A final run was need otherwise we would not make it. After 30 minutes we arrived in the indicated point to start the trekking -the village name is Wharton.

In the beginning of the trail the road there was a very strong descent on a rocky road, our thoughts were a mix of excitement and concerns. We were not prepared for a 4 hours trekking as the recommended, no water and no food. Also, did not had breakfast - a complete disaster, I know. Any how the whole way was challenging but at the same time beautiful. We managed to eat some bread at one of the houses in the middle of the mountain and also managed to buy a bottle of water so we could refill it from the river, which by the way is amazing! We did our walk enjoying the views, the sounds and the colors of forest. After a couple of hours we made it to Cajon del Azul, the place was incredible, but as in life, the whole journey was the best part of it.

The whole experience ended up been exactly what we expected to feel when visiting this part of the world, the result is that we decided to stay a bit longer and do another trekking, but this time more challenging. Keep posted for the our next adventure!
