RE: Path of Exile | Update On My Progress In Bestiary And Some Thoughts

My only concern thinking further on it. Is how big the turn out ends up being. If there only 7 or 10 people. Someone might get away with just leveling a class to 30 and being done. If there 21 people who turn out for this then there bit of completion to try and get rank 1 for a single class.

It might be a bit to soon to have an idea on rewards without a better understanding of turn out. If I recall a couple of people even sign up but never enter anyway.

If there tends to be a lower turn out than something like 5 places paying out might be better.

You have a list of people who might want do this? I know people been using a couple of different tags for this game. One of them being poe which is also a alt coin so not everyone who uses that tag is playing PoE along with pathofexile.

Good point. We'd need 14 chars at a minimum or somebody's getting paid for just chillin with Nessa.
That said, if we pencil in 3 chars per entrant, we'd only need 5 contenders, to make it interesting.
Guys would be spending a lot more time keeping tabs on each other than last time.
I think we'll see more engagement this way, too.
If we did this, and dropped it down from 7 to 3 days, I think we'd be onto a winner.
Even top quality players are going to have to specialise.

3 days is an interesting twist. As long as server issues are not too bad. That might even attract more in with it being a shorter event. Might even get more softcore players willing to give it a try since they won’t be losing to much time in the early economy of the game for softcore.

It feels like the longer it goes on, the more the experienced players can pull ahead across multiple classes.
I'm sure given a month for example, all 7 classes would be won by the same one or two guys.
