BIGGEST PEAKMONSTERS RELEASE EVER - 26 updates

in #peakmonsters5 years ago (edited)

STEEMPEAK POST 33.pngOK technically i don't know if it's the biggest one ever... but I think it is if you count the number of tickets we finished: 26

1. BULK VIEWING SYSTEM - "the work horse"

Let's start with the big boy... this one deserves a post all to itself... this entirely new view is a workhorse and many many posts could be written (we challenge you) about all the different time saving operations you could do with the new filters it has.

  • Works great with new filters
  • Has several columns that are sortable
  • Perfect usage with new upgraded transaction limits (400 transfer and 150 change price)

image.png

The purpose of this view is to be a WORK HORSE... this isn't your casual viewing view. This isn't where you come in to understand which cards you have better. This is where you come to work. To pinpoint exactly the cards you need to do an action on and then get it done quickly.
Bulk view is where we save power-users hours and hours of their life.

2. QUEUED SALES LISTING

Give it a try you can now select as many cards as you want thousands even. You can list them all for sale and then you just have to sign each batch of 100 ... using keychain makes this easy. We may expand this queued system for other transactions in the bulk view. Vote for the one you want next.

FILTERS (3-6)

image.png

. COOLDOWN FILTER

Speaking of new filters you'll find these in the bulk view mode and it does what you expect. Shows you either yes in cooldown or NOT in cooldown

. MARKET FILTER

Same idea do you want a filter that will show you ONLY cards that are on the market because you want to list them or vice versa

. DELEGATED FILTER

Another BULK VIEW filter... You either delegate out or in through rentals or some other agreement and you want to see which cards are only yours or only those that are delegated to you.

. OWNED FILTER

Maybe the least used of the bunch but important if you get cards shared or rented to you

7. LEVEL FILTER

Yet another bulk view filter that comes into handy

image.png

8. MARKET CAP

You can filter (or not) the market however you want and it will show you the total market cap.

  • Total bcx * market value per price type.
  • Don't forget there are 3 value types (listed, market, bid)

9. Show value of packs that are purchased on PeakMonsters

We gave expected values in our update last week... this update we now keep track of your purchase.
We even show you how much the pack was valued when you got it and now.
Keep in mind that we are using MARKET value not the higher priced LIST value.

10. Cancel All Bids

Pretty self explanatory... sometimes just lets a user start fresh.

11. Chose a LEVEL for COMBINING

Highly requested feature.
You pick the level you want to combine to and we will select the cards for you.
Nothing fancy and doesn't do crazy exceptions... you can either let us pick the exact amount of BCX or you can still select them yourselves.

12. Dual Columns on Combine screen

You may think it's not important but it really is a great small update specially for those with huge collections

blackline.png

13. Bulk Calculator Enhancements - How much does it cost?

This is a really fun one that we already teased a bunch.
I think it could become a regular screenshot data-point that could be shared on lots of blogs.

Go try it out the bulk button gives a ton of cool info now

14. UNLIST CONTRACT AFTER CONTRACT ENDS

We tried to figure out a way to CHANGE a contract but that is still very tricky... so for now we have UN-LIST ... so when a current contract ends it will be unlisted

image.png

image.png

blackline.png

15. Price Discovery tools for renting

This is a big time request for owners setting up rental contracts.
It gives them 3 available rentals and 3 cards that have been rented out that are similar to what you're trying to rent.

image.png

blackline.png

16. Show pack value estimations in MARKET value as well as LIST value.

image.png

blackline.png

TRANSACTION LIMIT INCREASES (17-19)

Increase transfer limit to 400 cards

Increase combine limit to 400 cards

Increase change sales price limit to 150 cards

blackline.png

20. Track packs purchased with DEC

DEC transactions are all a bit weird because you're not actually using tokens from your own wallet... you're using tokens that Splinterlands has in their account as part of their in-game system. But we have added a bit more DEC tracking this time around.

21. Check Steem wallet BEFORE user does a withdraw

I'm pretty sure half our limited number of tech support was people that didn't know why they couldn't withdraw steem... now we check the issue for them and tell them exactly what they need to do, put .001 steem in their steem account.

image.png

blackline.png

22. Improve name checker

  • Now checks to make sure account is a Splinterlands user
  • Waits a bit longer before checking account name
  • Doesn't truncate the name

image.png
blackline.png

23. Merge CN server with english and korean.

This basically means we save on having to pay for .cn domain and extra servers and Chinese users get to use all the features found on .com.

blackline.png

24. Show user how much DEC is in their Splinterlands wallet

image.png

25. Relative Price Listing

Our final upgrade was to make listing cards even easier!
Now you can set an exact price or you can set a % and we will check the LOW LISTING per BCX and then come up with a price for you based off of that percentage +/-

image.png

With queued listings and this feature you can now list thousands of cards with just a couple of clicks

26. DEC in profile charts

This was a last minute upgrade we threw in just before launch

25 is great but it still uses the lowest listing including combined cards, which often are asking for much lower per bcx price. I have a few thousands of single bcx cards and always have to check back the market for the lowest single bcx listed card.

yes it uses the BCX low ... which is a datapoint that comes from Splinterlands and may not be the amount you actually want to judge it from. However it's a good start and can help a lot of people.

Awesome! Can’t wait to try this tonight!

This is huge, I will need to learn how to use most of these new features now :)

Thank you for being so caring for the Splinterlands community !

A video with how to use each of these new features is scheduled for 4hrs from right now.

Fantastic :) I will watch it in the morning then.

This is awesome! Thanks for great features :)

awesome, but show some of this info in the api endpoint pls ;) eg. marketcap, packs values, all miscellaneous data that could be used by 3rd party to store daily and make visualizations

We talked about it... it was gonna take a few days (we work part time) so it was not possible to be added to this month's upgrades.

We talked about it and i would have loved to see it... but it was gonna take a while since we've never added an API point of any kind. Sadly we couldn't fit in this option this month.

Unlisting of cards not rented doesn't work anymore for me.
When pressing 'cancel' it gives me the confirmation popup for unlisting listed cards. Upon confirmation nothing is happening

@handtalk5 do you mean in the Profile page?

Right. After applying the Available filter in the rental tab.

Can you try again now?

Seems to be working again!

I now get the correct confirmation prompt (cancel) and not the wrong one (unlist) anymore.

Have to say that I find the popup annoying, though. :) Was more convenient before without the prompt.

Oh god u made life with peakmonsters harder!
