Pedicabs in Jakarta and in the World

Recently, the Governor of Jakarta Anies Baswedan made a policy that allowed pedicabs to operate in several settlements within the Jakarta area. This policy raises a polemic because some parties mistakenly understand. The people are worried that it will add to congestion in Jakarta. There is also a judge of this policy precisely as a setback. Both in terms of use of manual labor exploited and assessed in terms of technology that has been left behind.
Governor Anies explained that he did not present a becak in the capital, but legalized the fact that more than 1000 rickshaws were in Jakarta. This policy also limits pedicabs to not operate on alias protocol streets only in residential areas.
