21 percent of mobile banking in the year was inactive. Although there is a large population under financial inclusion in the country, the men and women's gap remain the same. The World Bank published the information in 'The Global Fund Database Database-017'. Half of the Bangladeshi adults have come under the mobile bank service. According to the Bangladesh Bank data till December 2017, 5 crore 67 lakh people have been covered under mobile banking.

According to the World Bank report, Bangladesh has made rapid progress in mobile banking in financial inclusion compared to other countries in the world. From 2014 to 2017, mobile banking rates in Bangladesh increased by about 21 percent. However, there is still about 30 percent of the men and women's gap. 65 percent of the women in Bangladesh are out of banking services. In Bangladesh, the number of non-active accounts is 21 percent, but more in the neighboring countries. In 2017, one-third of the accounts in Afghanistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka were inactive. In India, this rate has been found in half. In the financial sector of India, new reforms and faster newer farmers' banking services, the number of inactive accounts are more. If these are operational, this rate will be reduced. But this rate is only 13 percent in Pakistan.

The World Bank report has mentioned, financial involvement has increased worldwide. With the help of mobile phones and internet access, financial services have been easy. But still many areas in the world are outside of this facility. In this case women are lagging behind. 69 percent of the world's adult population or 380 million people came under mobile banking service. Mobile Banking subscriber has increased about 62% since 2014. Between 2014 and 2017, 51 million people were covered under the mobile banking service. In this case, the difference between men and women is the same as in 2011, which is 9 percent. 144 country's information has been mentioned in this Global Foundation.

World Bank president Jim Young Kim said on the report, financial inclusion plays an important role in stimulating savings. This helps to reduce poverty and inequality too. The financial inclusion of the world increases, but 170 billion people are out of banking services. Although their two-thirds have mobile phone facilities. Due to the introduction of digital system, it is possible to bring the common people under financial inclusion in many ways. It has been said that if the money directly spent on government pay, pension and social security programs through direct account, then it is possible to bring more than 10 million adults in the world under financial inclusion. With the wages and wages given in the private sector, it is possible to bring 200 million people into new financial inclusion. If the facilities provided in the agricultural sector are given through the account, then it is possible to bring more than 20 million farmers under digital service.
