دقت کنید که از اصطلاح in fear of نیز میتوان استفاده کرد، ولی معنای آن «با ترس از …» است:
We walked quietly, in fear of being discovered by the guards. |
ما به آهستگی راه میرفتیم و میترسیدیم که نگهبانها ما را پیدا کنند. |
