The Story of the Two Wolves

The following is an old Cherokee Indian story that is enlightening and helpful.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said,"My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all."
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil and the other is good. The same fight is going on inside you-and inside every other person too."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, Which wolf will win?"
The old cherokee simply replied ,The one you feed.
As we grow up and as we learn everything thats essential for life. We also learned that there are things that we cannot control. These would include the attitude of others and circumstances in our lives that are hard to handle. The most difficult aspects that are out of our control are our thoughts, feelings and actions. These factors if uncontrolled can definitely result to stress and anxiety. According to the story, The one you feed,is deceivingly simple.
We are the ones who can control our minds. Therefore the main denominator is "us". We have the power to choose which wolf we are going to feed. The good one or the bad one.

I heard this story once, it's beautiful, something to think about.

Yes this was a very interesting topic during my perdev class. Everyone should know the value of this story. To always submit our emotions to wisdom.
