Meet my new puppy, sweet as can be

We got a puppy! Her name is Allie and she is a Rat Terrier mix. We rescued her from a shelter. She came to us in early May when she was just eight weeks old. Now she is nearly 11 weeks. She is learning her house training very well. Everyone loves her!

Trudy, our 9 year old blue heeler, took time to warm up to Allie. She didn't want much to do with the puppy at first, but yesterday, they started to play. Bad photo because they moved so fast.

My next focus is to socialize my puppy by taking her around a lot of people, dogs and different environments. I also need to start to teach Allie to come when I call her and begin training basic commands like sit and down.
