We have a lot of traditions which in very part of region and island in the Philippines celebrated, since this month is March 'Semana Santa in English -Holy Week' will be celebrated specially to all Filipinos who are devoted on their beliefs in there religion which is Roman Catholic.
The Holy Week will start on March 25 until March 31(Saturday) in which in the Philippines it was declared as no work days. On that the people will celebrate and grave their beliefs and faith on God.
The reasons why I love my Home town Bantayan because that place has a unique way of celebrating the Holy Week.

During this season many foreigners will went to Bantayan and join the processions which is very Holy to be participated.
It was already in the peak season and a lot of tourist is visiting Bantayan Island because of the tradition in every year.

In the picture below is the scenery in which most Filipinos join the parade and procession .

After the procession, the last destination is the church where they are having a mass to pray the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This church is very old and it can be found in the heart of the Bantayan City, it is the oldest Parish in Visayas and Mindanao.

A lot of good sceneries you can found in Bantayan Island. You can went to its nearest island, you can have an island hoping if you want to stay longer in that place.
