Sampaguita flower

in #philippines7 years ago

Hi guys!!!
Just wanna share some "historical facts" about our country, Philippines! 😊

Did you guys know that Jasmine or Sampaguita (in our dialect) is the Philippines' national flower? It may be a tiny one, "small but terrible", but it has an everlasting, sweet scent that could last for many days. It is commonly used in the Philippines as garlands, or crowns, usually being sold outside churches and on the streets. Also, being the national flower, it symbolizes purity and simplicity among Filipinos. :)
