RE: IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!

in #philosophy8 years ago

i like the idea of turning this around on the public servants who use it against We the People. we pay them to represent us, not command us. if they are doing their jobs, then why would they need to delete emails? and before anyone thinks i'm one of these fake republicans, does anyone remember when the safe caught fire in Dick Cheney's office? i wonder what got burned.

what do they have to hide? if they're not doing anything wrong? everything they do should be public knowledge anyway.

Exactly, governments go more and more private and secretive, while they demand citizens to be fully transparent. It's like the Nazis carrying out horrific human experiments in the secret while the phonelines were wiretapped and started identifying and persecuting Jews.

Everything evil Governments are doing today was inspired from the Nazis, look up Operation Paperclip:

i made a post addressing this same secrecy only 3 days ago, having to do with, not only government, but also many large, tax free foundations. https://steemit.com/life/@lifeworship/classified-top-secret

How would a safe catch fire? How would a safe's contents catch fire? Apologies for the ignorance, but I thought safes are the epitome of safety from fire.

i have no idea how any of it could catch fire unless it was intentional. it was reported, at the time as a "man sized safe", so i guess it could have contained lots of flammables, and Dick Cheney is old and crazy. maybe he had the door open and mistook it for a large ash tray. maybe it's where he kept his white phosphorous collection. it sounds to me like the same sort of thing as hillary's electronic storage accidentally being destroyed with hammers.
