Truth in the age of post modernism

We live in confusing times. I don't know if anyone is like me, but sometimes I feel that the whole world is going mad. We live in an age of 24/7 news coverage and access to data through our little tracking devices called cell phones. Who should we believe? What is true? Some believe we live in the age in which philosophers refer to as "postmodernism". Post modernists reject notions of reason and absolute truth. In a truly post modernist society, conversations would be considered absurd, no one is wrong and nothing can be confirmed. I would posit that truth is not internal but external. That truth is objective and not subjective.

John 18:36-38:

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate

What is truth? That is the question of our times.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
