RE: WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR ATTENTION WORTH?

in #philosophy7 years ago

An excellent point, it isn't a simple problem on any level. The corporate monster will always get fed, however we can control to what degree we allow our attention to feed it. We can Claim responsibility for our part of the problem or solution. What kind of ripple in the fabric in which we exist within would occur by 10,000 people subtracting an hour of screen time a day for a week? We hear that time is money, attention is also money. If we determine where we focus our attention, and act in a way that will create benefit, instead of just blankly staring at triviacrack for 3 hours (been there which is why I use it) there will undoubtedly be improvement, and improvement is accomplishment. Otherwise, not only am I wasting my time but I am also wasting my attention on something that bears with it zero productivity, and in so doing, I discharge my valuable attention onto the beast instead of allowing it to flow elsewhere

At the end of the day, Little changes = big results, little pebbles create big ripples, and little hinges swing big doors. We can each make little changes that cumulatively will create big result!

Thank you for such a wonderful response :)
