RE: Living with and through Uncertainty in a Hyper-Changing World: Part 1

in #philosophy7 years ago

Yes. Yes! YES!
I’ve always known I have a slight caution for change, because it upsets the apple-cart of the illusion of security.

However since first coming across the Dao De Jing 17 years ago and exploring and practicing Taoist arts, I have embraced uncertainty and change.

And ironically, it feels like the more I surrender and accept that this is just the way of nature, the more I notice society want to go in the opposite direction... more control, more ‘trying’ to maintain certainty, stability, non-change.

However this hasn’t been an easy journey. And according to all the Taoist texts, it’s not meant to be. It’s certainly turning out to be an interesting art form.

Loved reading this and will follow and share 😊🙏🏽☯️

Thanks @peterloupelis !!! So glad you mentioned Taoism and the Dao De Jing which in my opinion is one of the greatest philosophies and written wisdom to go by. As you are quite rightly saying it is more relevant now as it seems that humanity is living and moving quite the opposite way to this inner wisdom.

Yeah I hear you @soulhiker.
Although more and more individuals are starting to listen to their own sovereignty... maybe we just need a tipping point?
