Steemit.chat #philosophy channel now moderated and open for serious discussion!
Before now the #philosophy channel on steemit.chat was pure spam.
I have been made owner/moderator and my goal is to facilitate high quality discussion about all things philosophical.
My goal is to make the channel to philosophy what #steemSTEM is to science on steemit.
Let's spread the word and make steemit a place for serious philosophical discussion!
As for me, my background is in academic philosophy. I have a Master's degree in philosophy and spent 6 years in a US philosophy PhD program.

I like your vision! I've just joined Steem in order to publish a video series, explaining my synthesis of American Pragmatism and Austrian Economics... but I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a strong, well-organized philosophical community here. While I'm still a noob, I'm more than willing to contribute!
I just joined, and like you have a background in academic philosophy, but have also been producing philosophy content for some time. Please let me know if I can do anything to help make the philosophy channel awesome. ☼
