How do you get the courage to do that could 'question' your financial stability? In other words, how to muster courage in taking decisions that would create financial uncertainty? (like leaving a job, starting a business, going abroad with no known contacts, etc.?)

Well that's up to each person to decide if the risk is worth the potential rewards, to weigh that for themselves. One person might try, success, another might try and fail, and another might not try at all.
