The Game of Lines

in #philosophy8 years ago (edited)

What people tend to play is a game called Lines.  Most of us go through our lives with two sets of lines.  One set are the lines we pretend that we will not cross, and the other set of lines are the ones we actually won’t cross.  If two individuals are able to find that place between each others sets of lines, a very meaningful interaction is likely to result, whether it be constructive, business, romantic, social etc.

The tricky part about these lines is that they are often not straight, or fixed in place, although some of us may try to keep them straight and as fixed as possible.  Most of us are unaware that these lines exist, and further that we have the power to bend them, move them, break them, or dissolve them completely.  Many of us that are aware of them do not see all of them.  Perhaps it is impossible to see all of them.  Nevertheless these lines do not last for ever.
