Great Blue Hole
Great Blue Hole - a great cleft (sea cave) coral reef in the Caribbean Sea. It is about 80 km away from Belize City into the sea, in the middle of the Lighthouse Reef atoll.
It is visible from space, and gained its popularity thanks to television films and presentations of sea expeditions Jacques Cousteau. Currently, it is a great attraction for divers and those who want to admire the underwater world. It has been under the patronage of UNESCO
