Caged Pygmy Monkey
This is a Pygmy Monkey in a cage near Iquitos, Peru. The Pygmy Monkey is the smallest monkey in the world and this particular one was kept as a pet and now lives at an animal sanctuary near Iquitos. It was a lot of fun when I got to see some of these guys in the wild but it was kind of depressing to see one in a cage, even if it was a large cage.

Really cute! It is a dilemma that some they are in cages.
Yeah, it 's sad, but since it was kept as a pet I guess it wouldn't be able to survive in the wild.
