Joy and silence

In the last year traveling around "Americas" I collect a lot of photo of unforgettable moments.

I would like to share with you this photo that contains a special memory for me. After 5 days of excursion in the jungle in the north of Guatemala we return into civilization.

And here we are in a small bus that crosses different towns, from the small center of Carmelita all the way to Flores. Tired and dusty we tried to sleep, but everything changed when a group of kids hop on the bus, eight or nine maybe, accompanied by just one lady.

All it takes is playing a bit of harmonica and make wry face to attract their attention. To laugh and to joke has never been so simple. It doesn't care the color of the skin, the dirty clothes, the age, the language, the main point was to clap the hands and to sing anything. There was just one rule: to smile and sing without shame. However the joy of this child struck me specially, although he was deaf and dumb he laughed and participated in the game the same as the other, it seemed like he was having even more fun than the rest.
