The Temple Guardian
If you happen to visit hindu temples, then you will see these lion like figures guarding the entrance of temples. They are these fearsome figures to drive away the demon and bad forces.
We have this culture of visiting Nava Durgas or Nine Durga Temples during Dashain. All these temples are well lit with beautiful festival lights and the entire temple area is so fun and festive with tradition worshipping musics and programs.
