Loch Shieldaig and Glen Torridon area, Scotland, September 2018
Hello Everyone!
Here's few shots from my latest 1-to-1 workshop with Stephen (best regards!) enthusiast photographer from England. Some spectacular views and great conditions with rainbows, clouds and good amount of sunshine...
First stop during the drive around Upper Loch Torridon, as we saw nice light around the mountains on the other side of the Loch we stopped to get few shots and soon were impressed seeing this unusual flat, horizontal rainbow below Beinn Alligin (the mountain on left)
One of the popular iconic spots at the shore of Loch Shieldaig - Red Roof Cottage that you can find when driving the road from Shieldaig to Applecross. Often photographed scene but still looks great with the house colours contrasting with water and mountains in background. We were lucky to have this nice light and great cloudy sky above...
On the way back this scene made us stop again - Scots Pine trees in the first plane lit by morning sunshine and moody Beinn Alligin in background ...
Next spot during the workshop - Loch Clair & Liathach in background, Glen Torridon.
It wasn't the best time of day for this location (it's better in early morning) but it still looked pretty impressive with nice reflections and colours...
Our final destination - Gairloch on West Coast of Scotland looking towards Isle of Skye, very clear sky but some nice tones at sunset, 30 sec. exposure time...
