RE: THEMATIC THURSDAY - The theme is: MOVING WATER

in #photogames6 years ago (edited)

This is a Seljalandsfoss(waterfall) in Iceland. Located on the southern coast of the country. Water comes from the mountain tops due to melting snow and waterfall itself is 60 meters high. What makes it really special is that you can walk behind the waterfall and take long exposure sunset photos from there. Of course, you are getting your camera and yourself soaked. I'm also posting a link of my 2 months old post if anyone is interested to see more story and photos of Seljalandsfoss.

Wow, to get the sunset like that... Beautiful.

Yeah, gotta be at the right place at the right time. It was basically a polar day at the time on Iceland and this photo is taken at 12 AM. Most of all I wanted to go there in the night because there are no crowds of tourists. There were about 10 people at the time and they all were photographers. They probably think the same way as me :D

What a great look! Sounds cold but worth it.

Really unusual shot and most impressive! Very nice capture!
I would hate to get my camera wet, though :)

Fortunately camera can take a little water haha

Thanks for submitting I gave it a full vote as a runner up... super great shot.
