The sea

The North Sea is an endangered, landed sea in the Atlantic Ocean, which is located on the European Continental Peninsula. Norway and Denmark before the sea, Scotland and England on the west, and Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France to the south. The sea is approximately 970 miles north-south and 560 miles long east-west and its area is approximately 5,75,000 sq km. The North Sea was historically known as the German Ocean or the German Sea.
