Spring walking in Co Durham

in #photograph6 years ago

A beautiful morning for a walk, stretching the legs around the Co Durham countryside, invigorating to say the least.
Stunning paths along the Cong Burn & relics insitu from the early 1900’s coal mining which was the way we used to live.... very beautiful to hear the woodpecker echos through the woodland, the cracking of bramble under foot and the small of new shoots when passing along the narrow paths, at some point through the walk the silence all but the trickle of water made this walk very peaceful indeed.
