Reflections and Clarity
Sometimes I take a picture and I don't really like how it turns out at first, but over time it will grow on me.
This is one of those shots. I was trying to capture a few minnows swimming in the quiet clear mud pools on the edge of the river.
Instead, I captured the clarity of the water an a cool reflection.
First thing I noticed was how clear that water is... our bit of (ocean) beach here is in a fairly protected cove so sometimes it does get so calm you can see the colorful rocks when standing on the shore.
There's something very calming about looking into still clear waters.
