"Stealing advantages” is a phrase that involves the use of fraudulent means to acquire certain benefits which predominantly disadvantage other people. This idea can be found in any set up, be it business, interactions or sexual relationships. In the corporate world for example, there are those who engage i the forgery of documents and statistics for the sake of getting promotions and bonuses at the expense of the honest efforts of other employees.

In social environments, individuals may abuse friends or networks, strategically using people for their own ends without any offer of support or help in return. Such an attitude is detrimental to personal and communal trust and such actions will have repercussions that go beyond the individual.

Nonetheless, this word can also be used in more innocent circumstances such as when earning the fruits of other people’s labour without necessarily sweating themselves, for instance after a group of people has pooled their efforts. In conclusion, stealing in many cases provides a quick reward, however, the consequences that come with it mainly in terms of loss of benefit far outweigh the benefit of ‘stealing’ for any person who is rational, thus, indicstaing honesty and fair competitions everywhere possible.
