The Cigarette

One of the things that I like the most when I shoot is taking a break, drink some water, having a little conversation with the models and maybe talk about the next set or future projects.

That day I was in Turin, shooting with Marika and we were taking
a break on the balcony, talking about the photos we had just taken in the early afternoon on the crazy blue carpet.

You you can see those pictures in my previous post Deep Blue, but anyway let's not digress, the point here is that she lit a cigarette and started smoking and the scene was gorgeous, with all the messy stuff on the balcony and Marika on the white armchair with a dark bodysuit.

I happened to have my Nikon F5 in my hands and I started shooting with my trusty 20mm and whatever film was loaded. It turned out to be a Kodak T-Max 400 if you are interested :)

She was beautiful, not posing at all, just relaxing while I was talking and taking photographs.

This is the result of that casual moment.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

I blame myself for such an idiotic mistake, but if I were @hugo4u I would immediately refund my user.
Anyway. Let's see what happens.

This is supposed to be a community, its an easily remedied mistake anyone, and most of us! have made. He seriously needs to refund or I will seriously shame him and message my friends at minnowbooster where he just sent your money to buy delegation.

Well, I had no answers in almost 15 hours...
I don't think I'll see my SBD again.
But I thank you very much @nathen007, I could not imagine that somebody actually could care about this.

very bad habit.
Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the resulting smoke breathed in to be tasted and absorbed into the bloodstream. Most commonly the substance is the dried leaves of the tobacco plant which have been rolled into a small square of rice paper to create a small, round cylinder called a "cigarette". Smoking is primarily practiced as a route of administration for recreational drug use because the combustion of the dried plant leaves vaporizes and delivers active substances into the lungs where they are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and reach bodily tissue. In the case of cigarette smoking these substances are contained in a mixture of aerosol particles and gasses and include the pharmacologically active alkaloid nicotine; the vaporization creates heated aerosol and gas to form that allows inhalation and deep penetration into the lungs where absorption into the bloodstream of the active substances occurs. In some cultures, smoking is also carried out as a part of various rituals, where participants use it to help induce trance-like states that, they believe, can lead them to spiritual enlightenment.
Smoking generally has negative health effects, because smoke inhalation inherently poses challenges to various physiologic processes such as respiration. Diseases related to tobacco smoking have been shown to kill approximately half of long-term smokers when compared to average mortality rates faced by non-smokers. Smoking caused over five million deaths a year from 1990 to 2015.[1]

Perception surrounding smoking has varied over time and from one place to another: holy and sinful, sophisticated and vulgar, a panacea and deadly health hazard. In the 20th century, smoking came to be viewed in a decidedly negative light, especially in Western countries. This is due to smoking tobacco being among the leading causes of many diseases such as lung cancer, heart attack, COPD, erectile dysfunction, and birth defects.[2] The health hazards of smoking have caused many countries to institute high taxes on tobacco products, run ads to discourage use, limit ads that promote use, and provide help with quitting for those who do smoke.

I don't smoke. But anyway, you didn't understand anything about my work.
Also. Why did you resteem it if you disagree so much with the content?
