Syros, the secret pearl of the Cyclades
Let's heat up the winter by remembering the summer!
I went this summer to the island of Syros and I am more than happy to share my experience with you. In this first post I will upload photos from the small cozy villages next to the beaches that we visited in Syros.
Let's start with Galissas where we stayed during our trip to Syros.
On the first photo you see the view of the beach of Galissas
I found this nice small private beach in the other side of the mountain very interesting.
Here you have a taste of the sunset in Galissas:
The view from our balcony in Galissas
Because of the winds coming from north the days we visited Syros, we were searching for beaches that were hidden from the wind on the southern part of the island.
Let's have a look at the small town of Megalos Gialos:
While being at megalos Gialos I decided to go for a small adventure and found a more rocky place to swin.
The last beach we visited was the beach of Vari.
On the next post I will share photos from the beautiful town of Ermoupoli which is the capital of the Cycladic islands.
How did you like these beaches?
Looks like a nice spot to relax.
It really is! It was a great holiday there, there are many nice things to experience. The town there is also great.
You are a very talented photographer.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate your words. I mainly enjoy taking photos once I like the place I am visiting.
