Missing my other home. England in pictures, part 1: Postbridge
I have been feeling rather nostalgic lately. After my husband and I got married in 2009 I moved to southern England to live with him. It was home for 6 years before we decided to re-locate to Michigan. People ask me all the time where I prefer to live and what I miss about the U.K.
I decided to share some of my favourite photos from our travels around England. I hope you enjoy! I'm not sure yet how many parts there will be!
This is one of my most treasured landscape photos from my travels. It is a 13th century clapper bridge at Postbridge in Dartmoor in soutwest England. The photo is taken from the modern road bridge. I loved everything about the Dartmoor area and I hope we get to go back someday!
