Richard Mosse Inspired Adventure Gallery - Thousand Word Visuals

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

These are some photos I've taken while adventuring over the last few months. All have been edited in a particular style to replicate the infrared look of Richard Mosse's photography. I love the brighter more interesting colors that appear when converting the originals from their natural green appearance. Appreciate all the feedback! I definitely recommend clicking to view the high definition full size photos. The thumbnails tend to look a lot less sharp for some reason.

but, but, but... apart from being redish this has nothing to do with infrared photography. Sorry. But green leaves and trees are not red in the infrared spectrum.

Cheers :)

Merely inspired by the look of infrared photography by Richard Mosse. The colors of the infrared spectrum vary and are typically very slight, typically edited to appear more vivid. Check out Kodak Aerochrome Film. It produces a red look to most foliage.

Did my research a bit better. These films and filter lenses can let through some of the optical light (reddish).

I experienced only the full (and only) IR spectrum vision - quite an experience seeing the world through a different set of eyes. ;)

Beautiful and interesting pictures. I like the red!
